Alex's Dyn-O-Mite Flourless Vegan Brownies
Most women on the planet love chocolate, and the best way to keep your better half happy is to give them what they want.
If you really want to step it up guys, be the hero and learn how to make some tasty shit in the kitchen other than a cocktail.
All the beautiful women out there will make these whenever they damn please and not share if they don't wanna.
Besides, if the man in your life ain't feeding you chocolate while putting you on a pedestal 24/7, who needs 'em right?
This recipe has been declared by many people the best brownie ever. Make this and let me know if it lives up to the hype.
Here is what you need
1.5 Cups Almond meal (not almond flour, unless you want it to be more like cake, this is a brownie people)
1/2 Cup Cacao powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp sea salt
1/4 CUP maple syrup/agave (non vegans substitute w/ honey) (gnarly paleo people substitute w/ date paste)
1/2 CUP Coconut oil
2 tbsp flax ( mix the flax with 6 tbsp of water and set aside for a few minutes to thicken. Same method if you want to use chia seed)
one handful of dates soaked in water- drain and rinse after 30 minutes. If you got some sad assed dates, then soak them longer
Ok that's all you need.
Yep, nothing ghetto in this.
Ready to do this?
preheat oven to 350f
Mix all the dry ingredients together and set aside
in a smaller bowl, mix all the wet ingredients together.
Mix wet ingredients into the dry bowl and mix until it is one big black gooey mess.
Grease a bread pan or a pyrex with coconut oil and then slip the brownie batter in.
Bake for 20 minutes, stick a toothpick in the center and if its pulls out clean, then you are good to go.
Let cool before you eat this or burn the roof of your mouth. That's up to you.
I like to add a square of homemade chocolate on top of each piece when the brownie is still warm.
The result is a ridiculous hot mess.
Top with homemade coconut whipped cream.
Please email me photos or comments of your brownie DYNO-MITE
I Will explain how to make your own chocolate and coconut whip cream later.
STAY TUNED, in the meantime go make brownies!
